"Paper Pointers"

It would be a VERY good idea to read this section, as this sums up exactly what I'm loking for in your writing and the papers you turn in to me. Remember, my office hours are from 2-4 on Tuesdays in the I-House Cafe. you can come, and then we can walk to section together at four.

Keeping up with Current Events:

I've tried to find a wider variety of news websites in an attempt to find something close to balanced reporting. Assuming that so many news agencies have different "hidden" interests (and owners), I've tried to get some of the major competitors together. They often offer slightly different spins on things. For example, Fox News, the new player on the block, describes itself as more objective as CNN. Judge for yourself. But before you treat yourself to a simple increase in exposure to mainstream media via the Web, check out the first two links first.

For those of you interested in another perspective on educational philosophy, read the paper I wrote about education and ideology in Korea. At the very least, it might put things in interesting contrast.
