Unfortunately, she was just involved with the law, as she had a hit-and-run
encounter with a taxi-driver. She had been drinking, and smashed her Mercedes
into some poor schmoe. But she decided to hoof it away from the scene of
the crime, and needless to say, a scandal ensued. So she went on TV, and
by way of apology, promised never to place herself in the public eye again.
It's funny, but American stars get caught doing something, and they get
MORE popular. And then everyone involved writes books and gets even more
fame and fortune. Poor Eun Kyung. I don't sympathize with her actions or
lack of thinking, but maybe banishment is a little harsh. Anyway, you may
be wondering why I liked her in the first place. Well, basically, she just
looks like a nice person who carries herself with a definite sense of style.
And she was a good actress. I'm not too into Korean soaps, but some were
fun to watch. Shin Eun Kyung got a lot of exposure for her role in the
Korean drama General Hospital. This picture, as well as many others
here, were scanned in from the CC Club catalog, CC Club being a pretty
large women's clothing chain in Korea. I picked up a few catalogs here
and there during my two-year stay, and I must say that most of the clothes
were pretty cool, with the exception of their 1996 summer line. Not only
was the clothing TACK-AY, but the photography and printing was horrible
in the catalog itself. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed, and not
